Using the app

Battleground Builder is a developing tabletop board-design and battle-simulation service. Features may change and service may be interrupted. Simulation outcomes depend on your rules, inputs, and settings; they do not guarantee that a game is balanced.

Free access and subscriptions

You may explore app features in a temporary browser session without subscribing. Free-session work is not retained after that session ends. An active subscription, currently $5.99 USD per month, enables online saves. Checkout shows the applicable price and billing terms before payment. Manage or cancel through the account’s subscription-management link; refunds are subject to the terms shown at checkout and applicable law.

Your work and our software

You keep rights you have in work you create. You allow us to host, process, and transmit it as needed to provide simulations, account storage, backups, and support. Battleground Builder—including its software, design, branding, and simulation engine—is owned by Beacon Hobbies or its licensors. You receive permission to use the service as intended; these terms do not transfer ownership or authorize copying, redistribution, or creating a competing product from our software. Third-party components remain subject to their own notices.

Acceptable use and account care

Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with it, attempt unauthorized access, bypass subscription or security controls, or infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for the content and rules you enter. Keep your sign-in details secure. Deleting your app account does not itself cancel a Stripe subscription.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Keep your own copies of important work; no online service can guarantee against every loss or interruption. Nothing here limits consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. To the extent permitted by law, Beacon Hobbies is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Changes and governing law

We may update the app or these terms; material changes will be reflected here. California law governs these terms, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
